Hello friends!
As per Kelly's suggestion, I am keeping a blog for all my recent-graduate friends that will be far from the adventures on the hillside this upcoming academic season. Seeing as there is over a month before I set foot back on campus, this is just the initial post to let you guys know this is here. Of course, this may just be a forum for me to report everyone else's adventures because as we all know, I'm not very exciting, especially since my good friends are now gone and my dramatic increase in activity on campus. But this could also mean that I will have fun stories to report. Just don't hold your breath, or else you will die of waiting.
Speaking of waiting, I am anxiously biding my time until school starts again. It will be nice to once again be back on the Hill amongst friends and freedom. Certainly, things will go down this last year. AAANNNNND I have a sweet apartment. But this all comes at a price. This is my last year. Where did all this time go? I don't want to job hunt and whatever. I don't want to move away from all of these friends with a high possibility of not seeing them again. And I don't want to leave this campus in the hands of my brother (another topic not to be discussed as I have tired many of you with it). I wish there were some ability to freeze time. I would, of course, freeze that time I was abroad, or even my last semester on the Hill. Or Senior Week 2012. THAT was a good time.
Since no one has invented the freeze-time thingy, I am just doing typical summer things: being nagged by my mother until I want to rip my hair out, going to the gym, the pool, the club, reading, going to the movies and mini-golf, as well as hanging with family. I also await my trips to Boston, Philadelphia, Gettysburg, Valley Forge, Harrisburg, and Hershey. And I am, naturally, toiling away at my summer job at Eriez.
So until next time,
Cheers,
Kelsey
